opportunities with key leaders, including the U.S. Senators and
Representatives on NBR’s Advisory Board. Core programs include:
- Executive Training. Support for corporate training programs,
drawing on NBR’s network of over 3,600 Asia specialists for
issue-specific presentations or broader regional overviews to
enhance executives’ understanding of issues and capacity for
strategic planning.
- Asia Experts on Call. Access to NBR’s network of Asia
specialists for commissioned private briefings and tailored
analyses of developments in Asia as a cost-effective means
to augment in-house resources.
- Executive Business Briefings. Exclusive briefings to
representatives of Chairman’s Council partner companies by NBR
publication authors, research directors, and other experts on
topical issues highlighted by NBR research and publications.
- Issue Updates. One-on-one discussions with NBR program
directors on new and ongoing NBR research, to ensure a role for
Council partners in identifying issues to be addressed in NBR’s
research.
- Foreign Relations Discussion Group. Senior-level,
off-the-record discussions on critical issues in Asia
organized with a Member of Congress, policymaker, or prominent
opinion leader. Meetings are limited to 20 participants to
maintain a single-conversation format and maximize networking
